Aged 12 months in large neutral casks, the 2024 Badia a Coltibuono Chianti Classico combines 90% Sangiovese with 10% other local varieties and pours a light ruby-brick core with a pale pink rim, its nose bright with sour cherry, cranberry, and dusty wild oregano. Fine tannins and moderate-plus acidity give the medium-bodied palate a lively, easy-drinking line.
