Built from the full range of the estate’s Sangiovese and aged in small neutral barrels, the 2021 Badia a Coltibuono Sangioveto from Toscana is a layered expression of the grape. A medium glowing ruby core shifts to a light red-orange rim. Dusty rose and violet lead the nose, followed by dried cherry, red plum, and pink peppercorn. Fine, powdery tannins and elevated acidity frame the medium body, which carries through a long finish.
