A blend from all of Selvapiana’s vineyards, the 2024 Selvapiana Chianti Rufina is a Sangiovese of real elegance, showing a light ruby-brick core and a pale pink rim. Dried Bing cherry, fresh strawberry, and a profusion of red rose petals rise over dusty savory and cracked pepper, with dried strawberry carrying through on the palate. Grippy tannins and moderate-plus acidity frame the medium body, and another year in bottle will help it unfold.
