Moscato di Trani DOC

A golden sweet wine from Moscato Bianco grown on the coast around Trani, historically shipped from the town's port and once one of the south's most prized dessert wines. It is made from late harvested or briefly dried grapes rather than fortified (though a liquoroso exists), so it tastes of orange blossom, apricot, honey, candied citrus and sage, with about 15% alcohol, moderate sweetness and enough acidity to stay lively. Rivera and Torrevento keep the tradition alive in a form that travels.

Still hunting

I'm still looking for a bottle of this.

If you make Moscato di Trani, import it, or know who does, the form takes two minutes and I reply to every one.

Can you help me get one?
