Ripoli
A white of the Amalfi coast, grown on the terraced cliffs around Furore and permitted in the Costa d'Amalfi rules. It gives body and a ripe, slightly honeyed character to the small local blends made from grapes that exist almost nowhere else.
Worth knowing
Along with Fenile and Ginestra it is one of the three rare whites behind Fiorduva. The vineyards are so steep and so small that the cost of working them by hand shows up directly in the price of the bottle.
