Eloro DOC

IL PROGETTODOCELOROAAIT34870466Denominazione di Origine Controllata

No strip issued. I'm still hunting a bottle.

The historic home of Nero d'Avola, on white limestone and red sand near Pachino, where old bush vines yield the grape's most concentrated, southern expression. Eloro Nero d'Avola is deep purple, with blackberry, dark plum, carob, dried oregano, black pepper and a warm, savory finish with chalky tannin; the Pachino subzone is the top designation. Tiny production relative to the Sicilia DOC sea of Nero d'Avola, but a handful of estates make serious wines.

Still hunting

I'm still looking for a bottle of this.

If you make Eloro, import it, or know who does, the form takes two minutes and I reply to every one.

Can you help me get one?
