Lambrusco a Foglia Frastagliata
Also called Enantio.
A red of the Adige valley on the Trentino and Veneto border, where it is called Enantio. It gives a dark, firm, slightly rustic wine with red fruit and a herbal bite, grown on the gravel terraces of the Terradeiforti.
Worth knowing
It carries the Lambrusco name and belongs to the Adige valley, well away from the Emilian Lambruscos. A 2024 genetic study placed it among the cultivated varieties closest to wild vines, with a genome that shows mixing between wild and cultivated grapevines.
