The 2024 Trebotti Tusco Grechetto Rosso from Lazio is Sangiovese under its local name, showing a ruby-brick core that shifts from medium-dark to medium with a lighter red rim. Dried rose, white pepper, and Bing cherry lead, with a hint of red currant and crushed fennel seed. Moderate-plus acidity, firm and crisp tannins, and a medium-plus to full body give it a food-friendly frame.
