Todi DOC

IL PROGETTODOCTODIAAIT44029707Denominazione di Origine Controllata

No strip issued. I'm still hunting a bottle.

Todi has its own clone of Grechetto, called Grechetto di Todi or G5, which is actually distinct from the Orvieto Grechetto and gives a rounder, more aromatic wine. Todi Grechetto shows white peach, pear, acacia, a hint of almond and a soft, medium-bodied palate with moderate acidity. The reds are Sangiovese and Merlot blends, plummy and easy. Roccafiore, Todini and Peppucci are the estates that matter, and Roccafiore's Fiorfiore is the one bottling with reasonable US presence.

Still hunting

I'm still looking for a bottle of this.

If you make Todi, import it, or know who does, the form takes two minutes and I reply to every one.

Can you help me get one?
