Cellatica DOC

IL PROGETTODOCCELLATICAAAIT87102963Denominazione di Origine Controllata

No strip issued. I'm still hunting a bottle.

One of Lombardy's oldest DOCs and one of its smallest, a red blend from the hills that fade into Franciacorta. Marzemino and Barbera with a little Schiava give a light to medium red with red cherry, raspberry, violet, a peppery note and crisp acidity, more of a food wine than a showpiece. Superiore versions add a year of aging and a bit more depth. Fewer than five producers bottle it.

Still hunting

I'm still looking for a bottle of this.

If you make Cellatica, import it, or know who does, the form takes two minutes and I reply to every one.

Can you help me get one?
