Bianco di Pitigliano DOC
One of Tuscany's oldest DOCs, from the volcanic tufa plateau around the cliff town of Pitigliano, historically home to a Jewish community that made kosher wine here. The white is a Trebbiano blend with Greco and Malvasia: light, crisp and citrusy with white flowers, a faint smoky mineral note from the tufa, and a soft, slightly bitter finish. Simple, refreshing, and priced accordingly.
