Biferno DOC

IL PROGETTODOCBIFERNOAAIT72664550Denominazione di Origine Controllata

No strip issued. I'm still hunting a bottle.

Molise's original DOC and the one most Americans have actually tasted, through Di Majo Norante's Ramitello. The red must blend Montepulciano with Aglianico, which gives it more acid, tannin and dark, tarry, dried cherry character than a plain Abruzzo Montepulciano: black plum, leather, licorice and a firm, slightly rustic finish. Whites are simple Trebbiano and Bombino blends. Riserva ages three years and can hold ten.

Still hunting

I'm still looking for a bottle of this.

If you make Biferno, import it, or know who does, the form takes two minutes and I reply to every one.

Can you help me get one?
