Friuli (Friuli Venezia Giulia) DOC

IL PROGETTODOCFRIULI (FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA)AAIT20316616Denominazione di Origine Controllata

No strip issued. I'm still hunting a bottle.

The 2016 region-wide DOC that lets producers blend across zones and use the word Friuli on the label, largely built to give Pinot Grigio a regional identity against the Veneto delle Venezie flood. Most wines are clean, fresh varietals: Pinot Grigio with pear and a hint of copper, Friulano with almond and herbs, Sauvignon with citrus and nettle, Refosco with tart black fruit. Ribolla Gialla spumante is a fast-growing sparkling category under this DOC. Quality is solid and prices are friendly.

Still hunting

I'm still looking for a bottle of this.

If you make Friuli (Friuli Venezia Giulia), import it, or know who does, the form takes two minutes and I reply to every one.

Can you help me get one?
